How to Move Your iTunes Music

As we add more music files to our iTunes libraries, our computers begin to run out of storage space. itunes10logoEventually, you need to move all that music to a space with greater capacity.

One option is to use online storage, such as Apple iCloud, or Amazon Cloud Drive, but these services charge monthly or annual fees.

A more cost-effective method is to purchase an external hard drive with more storage space and move your music library to it. First, get a USB connectable hard drive, with a lot of storage capacity, for example 1 terabyte (1TB). Once you have the drive connected to your computer, you can move your music to it using three easy steps described in this article from Lifehacker.

 Facebook is always finding ways to share your personal information without letting you know. A recent Lifehacker article explains:

(Facebook) …allows sharing of your information not just for the apps or sites you visit, but also allows your friends’ Facebook apps to access your private data.

The solution is to turn off Facebook Platforms. This “nuclear option” will mean you won’t be able to log into websites with Facebook, or share info with with apps, but many of us don’t use these features anyway.
